It has been our great pleasure to work with Google Business Photos to shoot many Toronto landmarks for their new service. While shooting recently for the new Google service, where you can take a virtual tour of local businesses and restaurants, we came upon a real gem that would be ideal for a stunning wedding.

It is situated on Wellington Street, Toronto’s newest hotel stands 53 stories tall in all its amazing glory. The Ritz Carlton – Toronto is one of the city’s finest architectural icons, perfectly designed in order to visually complement the extreme curves of the Roy Thomson Hall that is located nearby. With its 267 rooms and 159 condo residences, the Ritz Carlton – Toronto is a luxury hotel of the highest caliber. Its vast multitude of amenities includes its prime location in Toronto, the renowned TOCA Restaurant with an even more famous wine and cheese cellar, in addition to a 7400 square foot ballroom which is an ideal place for large weddings needing to accommodate up to 700 guests.

When it comes to weddings, the Ritz Carlton – Toronto specializes in bringing together all the elements that make for a stellar wedding, from great food to world-class catering and event management to lush spa treatments. These amenities ensure that brides, grooms, their families and friends have a truly
unforgettable experience. When it comes to ambiance, there’s no better place than the Ritz, offering five different venues to suit the personal needs of the event, from The Gallery, a 1,666 square foot elegant room perfect for a wedding reception, to the Ritz Carlton Ballroom, the city’s largest luxury ballroom.

Perhaps one of the greatest amenities provided by the venues at the Ritz Carlton – Toronto is the stunning views of the city. After being bathed in the soft light and sparkle provided by the crystal chandeliers in the Ritz Carlton Ballroom, wedding attendees can step out into the Grand Foyer. The Grand Foyer wraps around the entire Ritz Carlton Ballroom, and it is here that attendees can enjoy the views of the theatre district, Roy Thomson Hall, and David Pecaut Square provided by the space’s floor to ceiling windows.

If you are after the wedding venue of a lifetime, then there’s no better place for the event of your lifetime than the Ritz Carlton – Toronto. We often are being asked about cool wedding venues, so we are proud to present you Toca Ritz-Carlton and what it has to offer. You can check out the virtual tour provided by Google Business Photos here below. The really great thing about this service is that you can actually see a place online before deciding whether or not you want to take a physical tour.

Paulina & Miguel Royal Nautica Theme Wedding

Posted By PurpleTree.ca / January, 14, 2013 / 0 comments

It is the middle of the winter in Canada – that’s why we are even more excited to share this beautiful summer creative photo shoot we worked on during the warm months of summer. We have always been inspired by a nautical theme and we were thrilled to find out about this concept, carefully dreamed and prepared by Ksenia from Affairy events. We instantly fell in love with the idea of shooting a wedding creative on a beautiful sunny day near the lake, surrounded by yachts, water, birds, sweets and bright vibrant colors.
What could be better than an elegant bride with a dress draped in lace and a groom who looks better than James Bond? The perfect amount of reds, whites and delicate royal blue created a perfect colour combination. Not to mention gorgeous flower arrangements delicately picked and combined by a talented florist Katya from Caprice Design & Decor studio. And we need to say special thanks to Alexandra, who did an incredible job on the desert table! Everything was so delicious!
We always encourage our brides to pay attention to the smallest details that add uniqueness to their wedding and in this case, we couldn’t have asked for more! Rope shoelaces, anchored menu signs, sea nodes and many more details created a perfect wedding day for this beautiful couple..

Enzo and Kristin – Distillery District Wedding

Posted By PurpleTree.ca / January, 3, 2013 / 0 comments

It’s that time of the year when we are catching up on editing and updating our blog. The Holidays are done but the wedding season is yet to begin. Not going to last for too long though. We are back to our crazy schedule as of mid February.

We want to start the “catching up” with a beautiful wedding of Kristin and Enzo at Tappo Wine bar and restaurant in historical Distillery District.
Fall weddings are always fun and in my opinion are usually easier on photographers and the newly weds as it’s not as steaming hot as in July or August. It might rain though and it sure did on that day. It was also quite chilly but everyone managed to ignore the grumpy weather and we had a blast shooting and being foolish.

Kristin and Enzo were not just fun to work with, they were completely out of control!
